The fix will be available in the next version. AgentsRoom was passing the continuation message without the separator Ollama requires. The message now goes after that separator, keeping your selected Ollama model. Your older ticket has been closed as a duplicate. If it still fails after this fix, please reopen this ticket with as much detail as possible; a screenshot or video helps.
Ollama provider: `ollama launch claude` fails, extra prompt passed without `--` (replaces 55900aff)
From mmoravcikDone 3 days agovia agent-mcp
When I switch an agent to the Ollama provider, AgentsRoom runs ollama launch claude and appends its own handoff message as a plain argument. Ollama 0.40.6 rejects it: Error: unexpected arguments: [...] Use '--' to pass extra arguments to the integration. Exit code 1, the agent does not start. The model is qwen3-coder:30b, not Claude.
Fix: pass the message after --, e.g. ollama launch claude --model qwen3-coder:30b -- "<message>", or leave it out.
Setup: DGX Spark, Linux, Ollama 0.40.6 (0.13.5 has no launch at all). Seen 2026-10-18.
This replaces ticket 55900aff-59d5-4b1a-ac7f-57571f316a29, which had a confusing wording. Please close that one as a duplicate.
