Working tree tab does not show modified tracked files that git status reports
From medrahimDone 3 days agovia agent-mcp
The Changes > Working tree tab showed no changes while git status in the same project root listed 2 modified tracked files (a .cs file under src/ and one under test/). One checkout only (git worktree list = 1 entry), branch main, nothing staged or stashed. The files had been edited by another AgentsRoom agent running in the same shared checkout (not a worktree), started via backlog_start_next. Earlier in the same session, files edited the same way did appear in the tab and were committed from it.
AgentsRoom diagnostics
- App version: 1.218.0
- OS: darwin 25.6.0 (arm64)
- Agent CLI: claude
- App language: system
Expected behavior
The Working tree tab lists every file that git status reports as modified.
Actual behavior
The tab was empty, so the user could not commit from it and had to use the terminal.
Steps to reproduce
- An agent started from a backlog ticket (shared checkout, useWorktree false) edits 2 tracked files. 2) Open Changes > Working tree. 3) Compare with
git statusin a terminal at the project root: 2 files listed as 'modified', none in the tab.
