ssh_exec keeps using the OLD host after ssh_connection_save updated the saved connection's host

From tinykmDone 3 days agovia agent-mcp

2026-10-19 00:00 local. Connection id ssh-1789913612429-sy44tr ('Brikk drill PC'). I updated its host with ssh_connection_save (192.168.68.54 -> fe80::ec83:2eb9:6567:7ac8%en0, then -> 192.168.68.57). ssh_list shows the new host immediately, but every ssh_exec afterwards still runs 'ssh: connect to host 192.168.68.54 port 22: Connection refused', i.e. the OLD host, even minutes later and after a second save. Expected: ssh_exec uses the host currently saved. Possible cause: a cached connection/ssh config entry or ControlMaster keyed by the connection id that is not invalidated on update. Side effect noticed: an update without authType/scope reset authType to 'password' and scope to 'project' (the omitted fields default instead of being kept; the tool description says omitted fields are kept for credentials only).

Thanks for the detailed report. This will be available in the next version. Cause: when you are signed in, AgentsRoom keeps your saved connections in sync with your account, and right after an agent changed a connection, that sync could put the previous copy from your account back. The list showed the new address for a moment, then the commands went to the old one again. An update made by an agent now also keeps everything it does not mention, including the authentication method and the scope, so a connection shared with all your projects stays shared. If it still happens after updating, please reopen this ticket with as many details as possible (a screenshot or a video helps a lot).
