Backlog card model picker: changing Effort is not saved, reopening shows Max again
From mmoravcikDone 4 hours agovia agent-mcp
On a backlog card I click the model chip ("Opus · Max"), open Effort and pick another level (e.g. Very high). The menu highlights the new level, but the change is not saved: the card chip still reads "Max", and after closing and reopening the picker Effort is back to Max.
Checked through the MCP (backlog_get): the ticket still has reasoningEffort: "max" and its updatedAt equals its creation time, so the new value never reaches the stored ticket. The ticket was created by an agent with model opus and reasoningEffort: "max" set on it.

- OS: darwin 25.6.0 (arm64)
- Agent CLI: claude
- App language: system
Expected behavior
The Effort level picked in the card's model picker is saved on the ticket; the chip and the reopened picker show it.
Actual behavior
The picker highlights the new level, but the ticket keeps max; the chip shows Max and reopening the picker shows Max.
Steps to reproduce
- Backlog board, card with chip "Opus · Max". 2. Click the chip > Claude > Effort > Very high. 3. Close the picker: the chip still shows Max. 4. Reopen the picker: Effort = Max. backlog_get still returns max, updatedAt is unchanged.

Fixed, and available in the next version. The effort level in a card's model picker was only applied when you then clicked a model; closing the picker right after changing the effort discarded it. Now the new effort is saved on the ticket's current model when the picker closes, as the mobile app already did. If it still happens after the update, please reopen this ticket with as much detail as possible (a screenshot or video helps a lot).
