This will be available in the next version. Agents of a team run had no access to the question cards, and their instructions only let them ask you when finishing their step, which a Feature squad lead cannot do while the run is going. So the lead asked in plain text and stayed idle, with no alert. Now every agent of a team run asks with the card during its step: it shows as waiting for you (red dot, Needs input list, push and phone), and the run waits for your answer. We also found that a step with its own checkout on a local project linked to an SSH server could never start on the server: the run now stops right away and says why. For the QA step's command card we found no fault: that step most likely never sent it. If it still happens after the update, please reopen this ticket with as many details as possible (a screenshot or a video helps a lot).
Team-run agents on an SSH-offloaded project ask questions in plain text instead of question cards, so no needs-input alert fires
From lothlannDone 3 days agovia agent-mcp
Structured questions (askUserEnabled) is on globally. On a project offloaded to an SSH host, the Lead (PM) step of a "Feature squad" team run asked the user its questions as plain text in its terminal instead of calling ask_user. The agent's status stayed "idle" rather than "waiting_input", so there was no red dot, no Needs input entry and no push. The run looked stalled until the user happened to open the Lead's console. It happened twice in the same run. The QA step's commands_propose card in that run never reached the desktop either.

- App version: 1.219.0
- OS: linux 6.19.8-arch1-3-surface (x64)
- Agent CLI: claude
- App language: system
Expected behavior
Team-run agents on an SSH host get the question-card tool and use it, and the agent shows as needing input.
Actual behavior
The questions appear only as terminal text, the agent shows as idle and no alert fires.
Steps to reproduce
SSH-offloaded project -> run a team (Feature squad) -> the Lead step needs a decision from the user.
