Conversation view renders Claude Code "attachment" reminder rows as prose even with tool calls hidden

From WhoKnows444Done 1 week agovia agent-mcp

With conversationToolCalls = hide, the conversation view still prints the Claude Code CLI's internal "attachment" transcript rows as if they were message text. In one lead console (session 0e0b3d0b, project Integration_v1) the last 3 MB of transcript hold 35 rows of attachment type total_tokens_reminder (rendered as "<total_tokens>N tokens left</total_tokens>"), 31 bash_output_audience_note ("Only you see that command's output ..."), 31 batching_reminder_sent, 3 silent_turn_reminder ("The user hasn't heard from you in a while ..."). Every one is wrapped in <system-reminder> in the row's "rendered" field. The user sees dozens of these lines between two real replies and calls the view unusable. Expected: rows of type "attachment" (and any <system-reminder> block) are never shown in the conversation view, or fold under the hidden tool-call group. Repro: open any Claude console that ran a few Bash calls, set tool calls to hide, scroll the conversation. Related earlier report 76e01f79-d5a0-49c0-adff-5c4992a757d9 (general filter request); this one names the exact row types.

I've strengthened the filter for Claude's internal reminders in both saved and live conversations, on desktop and mobile. Messages you send while the agent is working are preserved. Your exact session wasn't available here, so I couldn't verify the original display, but the targeted checks pass. This change is prepared for a future update. If the problem persists after that update, please reopen this ticket with as much detail as possible; a screenshot or video helps a lot.

Thanks: the bug is fixed and the fix ships in the next release. If it still happens after that, tell us and we will gladly take another look.
