SwiftKey word prediction fails in iOS conversation and console inputs

From RawDone 4 days agovia agent-mcp

When typing with Microsoft SwiftKey on iOS, word prediction does not work properly in AgentsRoom’s Conversation and Console inputs. The same keyboard works normally in other apps. This makes typing unusually slow and frustrating.

Steps: Enable SwiftKey, open an agent session, and type in each input. Compare prediction behavior with another chat app.

Expected: Normal SwiftKey prediction and correction behavior.

Possible cause to investigate: Input-field configuration may be suppressing keyboard assistance—for example, secure-entry, autocorrection or keyboard-type settings. This is a hypothesis, not a confirmed cause. The default iOS keyboard has not been tested.

AgentsRoom diagnostics

  • App version: 1.219.0
  • OS: win32 10.0.26200 (x64)
  • App language: system

Expected behavior

Normal Microsoft SwiftKey prediction and correction behavior in both Conversation and Console text inputs.

Actual behavior

Word prediction does not work properly in AgentsRoom, while SwiftKey works normally in other apps. Typing is unusually slow and frustrating.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable Microsoft SwiftKey as the keyboard on iOS.
  2. Open an agent session in AgentsRoom.
  3. Type text in the Conversation input and inspect prediction behavior.
  4. Repeat in the Console input.
  5. Compare with the same keyboard in another chat app.

Version or build

iOS app with Microsoft SwiftKey; exact app, iOS and keyboard versions not provided. Default iOS keyboard not tested.

Errors and logs

No logs captured. Input-field settings suppressing prediction are a user hypothesis, not a verified root cause.

This will be fixed in the next version of the mobile app: the agent message field asked the keyboard to turn off autocorrection, which on iPhone also hides word predictions, including SwiftKey's. If it still happens after the update, please reopen this ticket with a screenshot or a short video.
