Conversation view for remote agents between desktops (Remote Fleet)

From RawDone 2 days ago

When I attach from my laptop to an agent running on my desktop via Remote Fleet, I only get the streamed terminal. The Conversation view (chat rendering, question cards, Allow/Deny permission cards, live answer) is not available desktop-to-desktop, even though the phone app already shows it for agents running on the desktop.

Proposal: reuse the phone's path. The host desktop already reads the CLI transcript (plus the live draft and the resolved tool-call setting) and sends it encrypted over the relay to the phone. Expose the same stream to another signed-in desktop of the same account, so the remote agent pane offers the Conversation/Terminal toggle, and relay answers to question/permission cards back to the host exactly as the phone does.

AgentsRoom diagnostics

  • App version: 1.223.0
  • OS: win32 10.0.26200 (x64)
  • Agent CLI: claude
  • App language: system

Problem to solve

Desktop-to-desktop Remote Fleet only streams the terminal; the Conversation view, question cards and permission cards are missing, while the phone already gets them.

Proposed behavior

Serve the host's transcript/live-draft stream (already built for mobile) to other signed-in desktops and add the Conversation toggle to remote agent panes, relaying card answers to the host.

Who benefits

Users who run agents on one computer and drive them from another (desktop + laptop).

Acceptance criteria

A remote agent pane works like a local one: readable answers and clickable cards without the raw terminal.

This will be available in the next version. An agent running on another of your computers now opens in the same Conversation view as a local one: click Conversation in the header of its pane (also in the full remote workspace view). You get the readable answers, the answer being written live, and the question and Allow / Deny cards are clickable from the computer you are using, the answer being typed on the machine that runs the agent. The mobile app's remote console offers the same view. Both computers need to be updated. If this is not what you had in mind, tell us and we will adjust it.
