This fix will be available in the next version. Messages between agents are written into their consoles by a single delivery queue, and one stuck step could stop that queue for every agent without showing any error: for example a check on a project running over SSH whose connection had stopped answering, or one message failing on every pass. Agents opened from a second sidebar entry pointing to the same folder were also never reached. The queue now moves past anything stuck after a short delay, keeps delivering to the other agents, and reaches each agent through the entry it was opened from. If messages still stay queued after you update, please reopen this ticket with as many details as possible (a screenshot or a short video helps a lot).
Agent Mail stays queued 1h+ on idle recipient consoles (4 agents at once)

In one project, messages sent with agents_send to four live agents (a coordinator agent plus a verifier and two Codex builders) have stayed in state "queued" for over an hour. agents_message_status keeps reporting state "queued" with recipientRuntime "idle" for every one of them. The coordinator has 18 pending messages; agents_list_live shows all four as status "idle" with pending counts.
Checked: interAgentMessaging is on, no member has coordination paused, no team run is active, and the user is not typing in those tabs. The sender's own console also shows pending messages.
Effect: the whole multi-agent board is stalled, because no agent receives its instructions.

A queued message to a live, idle console is written into it within seconds, as agents_message_status itself says.
Actual behavior
Messages stay queued with recipientRuntime idle for 60+ minutes, for 4 recipients at the same time. Nothing is delivered; no error is shown.
Steps to reproduce
- Several live agents (Claude + Codex) idle in one project. 2) agents_send to each. 3) agents_message_status shows queued / runtime idle indefinitely; agents_list_live shows growing pending counts.
Errors and logs
agents_message_status: state=queued, recipientRuntime=idle, sent ~15:56 UTC and ~16:39 UTC 2026-10-20, still queued after 17:50 UTC.
