Fixed, and available in the next version. The hooks always called "python", which on your setup is only the Microsoft Store shortcut because Python is not on the PATH. AgentsRoom now checks your PATH and uses the "py" launcher installed by python.org when "python" is only that shortcut; setups where "python" already worked keep the same command. If the error still appears after the update, please reopen this ticket with as much detail as possible (a screenshot or video helps a lot).
Windows: Claude hooks call `python`, which hits the Microsoft Store stub when Python is not on PATH
From VadimDone 4 hours agovia agent-mcp
AgentsRoom writes UserPromptSubmit hooks into Claude settings (~/.claude/settings.local.json → notify-agentsroom.py; <project>/.claude/settings.local.json → team-reminder.py, marked _agentsroomTeamHook) as python "C:\Users\<user>\.agentsroom\hooks\<name>.py". On Windows, when Python comes from the python.org installer without "Add to PATH", python resolves to the WindowsApps App Execution Alias stub.
Actual: every prompt shows "UserPromptSubmit hook error … Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store…" and neither hook runs. Expected: the hooks run.
Suggested fix: on Windows, call the py launcher (present here; py -0p lists 3.14) or a resolved absolute interpreter path, and fail quietly if neither exists.

Steps to reproduce
