Add an “On ship” hook that starts a monitoring agent

From bensDone 3 weeks ago

AgentsRoom factories need a post-shipment automation hook that can start a monitoring agent when a ticket or deliverable is shipped. There is currently no first-class way to transition automatically from implementation to production observation.

AgentsRoom diagnostics

  • App version: 1.193.0
  • OS: darwin 27.0.0 (arm64)
  • App language: system

Problem to solve

After work ships, monitoring must be started manually or through external automation, creating a gap where regressions, user feedback, or operational signals may be missed.

Proposed behavior

Add a configurable “On ship” trigger for projects/factories. When a ticket enters the shipped state, start a selected saved monitoring agent with structured context including ticket ID, shipped artifact/change references, deployment/environment metadata when available, ship timestamp, originating factory run, and monitoring duration/success criteria. Ensure idempotency, visible run history, permission checks, and a way to disable or retry the hook.

Who benefits

Teams using AgentsRoom for continuous delivery and post-release operations.

Acceptance criteria

Every shipped change can automatically receive a traceable monitoring pass, closing the loop between delivery and production validation.

You imagine this in backlog ? When a ticket is in the "done" column ?

Hey! Yes, that’s how I was picturing it… something where you could have the backlog motion as a trigger point for it. Maybe “done” isn’t the right column, probably like a QC/Monitoring step?
