Improve the UI for tasks running on other computers
From tiago.guimaraesDone 1 week ago
Using the desktop app, I can track project tasks running on another computer, but better backlog support is needed to make this workflow more practical.
Just as with local executions, the "Done" and "Ticket" buttons need to be displayed for agents on other computers working on backlog tasks. This would allow computers sharing the same project to easily synchronize the backlog and balance the workload.
Furthermore, I really miss being able to track which files have been modified by the agent on the other computer. Currently, it’s not practical; I have to ask the agent if they’ve committed their changes and check the Git status. In the mobile app, for instance, I can track changes made by each agent, regardless of which computer is running the task.
With these improvements in place, I feel I could scale my development capacity by organizing the distribution of ticket execution across different computers within the same project.
That said, I want to thank you for your efforts to make AgentsRoom better every day. It has undoubtedly made my work more productive.

The "Changes" button is now displayed during remote execution, which is great! However, I still don't see the "Done" button during remote execution (see the first screenshot). In local execution (see the second screenshot), this button not only closes the agent but also changes the ticket status to "Finished" in the backlog. This would greatly assist with distributed backlog management.
Optionally, alongside the "Done" button, it would be great to have the "Ticket" button available during remote execution, just as it is in local execution.
Thanks again for the excellent work!
I can see the buttons now; I'm not sure whether it was a bug or just a synchronization delay. As shown in the screenshot from the previous message, the remote agent wasn't displaying the buttons.
Update: I tested it a few more times, and the button appeared after a while when processing another ticket, but then it disappeared again. I believe there is a bug in this feature where AgentsRoom doesn't always recognize that the remote agent has an associated ticket, causing the "Done" button not to appear consistently.
Thanks for the detailed retests, you were right: it was a bug, not just a delay.
The computer you watch from only refreshed its copy of the backlog when the Backlog board was open. When the other computer started a ticket, your side still saw that ticket as "To do" (or did not know it yet), so the "Done" and "Ticket" buttons stayed hidden until something refreshed the board, and the same thing happened again on the next ticket.
Now, as soon as a remote agent reports a ticket your computer does not see as in progress yet, the board is refreshed on its own within a few seconds, so the buttons show up and stay while the agent works on it. This ships in the next release.
If the buttons still go missing after this update, please reopen the ticket with as many details as you can (a screenshot or a short video helps a lot).
